I just sent off my first ever round of Harry Potter Book Purse orders… and like a dope I forgot to take pictures!!  I was pretty happy with how they turned out.  Unlike the American versions, which use a dust jacket, the british versions I used had some pretty cool cover art.  Check it out:

I thought it was interesting that the “British Harry” looks quite a bit different than the Harry we see on our American covers.  I’ll try and see if I can get a few pictures of the purse after the fact… if I do I’ll be sure to put them online.

I just finished a new Book Club Book Purse.  While I know most people enjoy a handbag created from their favorite novel, I get a kick out of creating some of my totes simply based on aesthetics.  For this purse I used a 1970s geometric patterned cover coupled with a unique parasol themed lining.  The end result is pretty cunning (I think).

The latest in this series is the perfect accessory when you’re meeting up for drinks or coffee!
