I have been feeling guilty for having neglected my blogging endeavors for — well let’s just say for too long! So here is an attempt to make up for lost time….It’s not that I haven’t been busy – it’s more the case that I’ve been too busy! I started the new year by making up a batch of Book Club purses:

These covers from the70’s are
SO much fun!

I followed that with a series of Nancy Drew purses (equally fun of course).

I have most recently been working on some custom orders that have taken me in new directions.

I have just completed 4 different Austen book purses – 3 of them are variations of Pride and Prejudice. I love this black leather edition I found.

So thanks for checking on me – I’m alive and well and keeping busy!

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me” C.S. Lewis

I love little weekend jaunts to the wonderful small towns and quaint shops
that dot the Minnesota and Wisconsin landscape. In particular I am inspired by the creative ways that items are grouped and arranged in shops so that you want to bring the whole “look” home with you.

Here’s a link to one of my favorite shops in Stillwater, MN. Soooo, lovely!

One shop I was particularly taken with, displayed vintage books and tea cups together. Well, being a fan of both, I was smitten! Hence, I went on a “tea cup” spree and will be offering some of my finds along with my book purses later this fall. Hope it’s just your cup of tea!
